The InPsyCare story

The journey of InPsyCare began in 2015 as a small social media-based learning community called PsyCare. At a time when psychology students and mental health enthusiasts had limited access to shared learning platforms, Mr. Joshy envisioned a supportive community where people could learn together, exchange ideas, explore psychological concepts, and grow both personally and professionally. What began as a simple initiative soon developed into a vibrant international platform, connecting students, professionals, and mental health advocates from different parts of the world.

Under his leadership, InPsyCare has evolved into a dynamic educational and mental health awareness platform, bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world practice by offering training programmes, discussions, workshops, counselling support, mentorship, and opportunities for professional development.

Education and professional practice

Mr. Joshy's academic background reflects his multidisciplinary understanding of individuals and society. He holds bachelor's degrees in Psychology, Economics, and Journalism, which together provide him with a broad perspective on human behaviour, communication, social systems, and community life. He further strengthened his professional expertise with a master's degree in Medical and Psychiatric Social Work from SDM College, India, and an MSc in Public Health from the University of Northampton, England.

His professional identity is grounded in ethical practice, evidence-informed care, and social responsibility. He is registered as a qualified social worker with Social Care Wales and is associated with respected professional bodies including the Kerala Association of Professional Social Workers, the Counsellors Council of India, the British Association of Social Workers, and the British Psychological Society.

Clinical work and community service

As a mental health professional, Mr. Joshy has made significant contributions through counselling, workshops, debates, discussions, training programmes, and online educational initiatives, with particular experience supporting individuals facing psycho-social challenges, especially female adolescents dealing with issues related to relationships, sexuality, emotional wellbeing, and personal development. Over the course of his professional journey, he has completed more than 10,000 counselling and therapeutic sessions.

His passion for service began during his early years in Kerala, India, where he actively participated in community initiatives, volunteered at the 2015 National Games, and worked as the student coordinator for "Nallapadam," a media initiative focused on promoting social awareness and responsible citizenship.

Research and beyond

Mr. Joshy is actively engaged in research and publication, with academic interests spanning mental health, adolescent wellbeing, family relationships, parenting styles, behavioural modification, addiction, social work, public health, sports interventions, and the connection between traditional knowledge and modern psychological understanding.

His debut novel, Rhythm of Life, was published in 2026 and is available on Amazon.
